Gettysburg College - Nineteenth Century Notables is a digital collection of Cartes de Visite and cabinet cards of notable personalities from the Nineteenth Century. Individuals depicted include: Sarah Bernhardt, Ellen Terry, William S. Gilbert, Charles George Gordon, Bret Hark, Lucretia Mott and Sojourner Truth. This collection offers the chance to see the faces of some of the individuals who shaped the history of the 19th Century.
