Welcome to the Conshohocken Free Library's Minutes of the Town Council of the Borough of Conshohocken, Volume1, July 1850-March 1874 Collection, a part of the Access Pennsylvania Digital Repository
This collection provides a unique view of the history of Conshohocken from its
original incorporation as a Borough and the first election of Borough Officers
through the Civil War years and beyond.
Given the upcoming 150th anniversary of the Civil War, there will be
increased interest in this time period, and the local involvement of small
Boroughs like Conshohocken should be a part of the larger story.
The original volume is located at the Conshohocken Historical Socitey, which
is open to the public two hours per week. Once the digitized collection is
available at the Access Pennsylvania Digital Repository, it will be accessible
to researchers, genealogists, students and the general public anytime,
anywhere.
