| Transcript | box00007_fld00026_bdl0006_doc0001_01000001.txt; Dear Colonel Churoh: I have this morning had a letter from Mr. Howard Russell Butler in which he says that you asked him when he was going to let you have a portrait of Mr. Carnegie which had been promised to the institute in a letter from me about two years ago. The matter seems to have slipped my mind altogether, and I shall be ever so much obliged if you will send me a copy of the letter in order that I may have the matter before me afresh. With very kind Christmas greetings to you and Mrs. Church, I am, December 20, 1916. Colonel S. H. Church, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania |
