DescriptionEmpress Fredrick was born Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg Gotha, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria and her consort Prince Albert. She married Prince Frederick William of Prussia and became crown princess of Prussia. She was known as the Empress Frederick after the death of her husband.Her son was the Kaiser Wilhelm who led Germany into World War I.
