| Description | Letter sent by Judge Thomas White to Pennsylvania Governor A. G. Curtin from Indiana, Pennsylvania on June 12, 1863. Judge White writes that he has received the names of men his son Col. Richard White believes should be promoted; he has enclosed these names with the letter. He continues his letter with some information about the men his son has suggested for promotion, stating that all are deserving of promotion. He closes the letter with a note about how he regrets that the governor will be unable visit as he had planned to the next week. [Note: This object is a photocopy of the original letter. |
