On Sunday night, 23d inst., in this city, occurred the death of Mrs. Elizabeth B. Lloyd, widow of Col. Thos. W. Lloyd, in the 83d year of her age. Mrs. Lloyd was a very well known resident of Williamsport, and is highly spoken of by those who enjoyed her acquaintance. She was born July 23d , 1790, at the family homestead at Rupert, Columbia county, this state, and was a daughter of Judge Leonard Rupert. The family consisted of twelve children, of whom three survive Mrs. Lloyd, viz: Mrs. Paxton, residing at Rupert in the old family mansion, now in her 96th year; a maiden sister and a brother, Hon. Lloyd, and the same year removed with him to Williamsport, where she has resided continuously, with two short intervals, from that time, till her death. Their first residence to Williamsport was on the corner occupied by the City Hotel. Col.
