| Title | Celebrating 150 years |
| Description | To celebrate Susquehanna University's 150th year a 300-pound cake, measuring four feet wide and seven feet long and ample enough to feed 1, 500 people, was served at the Market Street Festival in downtown Selinsgrove. The cake was made with 6, 000 eggs, 300 pounds of flour, 200 pounds of sugar, 100 pounds of butter, 80 gallons of milk and 32.5 cups of vanilla. The cake was created by ARAMARK, the University's food service provider. In this photo, we see University president, Jay Lemons, with ARAMARK staff members who made the cake. |
