Selinsgrove Hall
Title
Selinsgrove
Hall
Subject
Fires
Dormitories
Selinsgrove Hall
Susquehanna University
Description
In
1947
Selinsgrove
Hall
, the
oldest
building
on
campus
, was
damaged
by
fire
and
water.
At the
time
the
building
housed
both
dormitory
rooms
and
administrative
offices.
The
initial
cause
of the
fire
was
thought
to be a
defect
in the
building's
wiring.
It
was
later
determined
that a
student
living
in the
hall
had
set
the
fire.
