	Spring Weekend Title Spring Weekend Subject Spring Weekend Games Student Government Association Steiner, Curt Messerli, Jonathon Garrett, James Anderson, Dorothy Teachers Students Susquehanna University Description In the spring of 1980, the Student Government Association sponsored a Spring Weekend for students. The Sponge Throw, sponsored by the Chapel Council, allowed students to " take out their frustrations on their favorite professor or administrator" by throwing a wet sponge at them. Among the names listed on the schedule were then President Messerli, Coach Garrett and Dean Anderson. Shown is student Curt Steiner throwing a drenched sponge at his "favorite" faculty member.
