Warren Savings Bank at The Point (circa 1890)
TitleWarren Savings Bank at The Point (circa 1890)
DescriptionThe Warren Savings Bank and the three-story Watson-Davis block immediately behind about 1890. These buildings and two others attached to the east were destroyed in a February 1889 fire. They were replaced in 1891 by the new Warren Savings Bank building, now (2004) National City Bank. On either side of the triangular block, across Liberty Street, are left, Johnson's Exchange, and right, the Struthers Hotel. The latter building was razed in 2003 to be replaced in 2004 by a new headquarters building for Northwest Savings Bank.
