DescriptionFour man judge the floral window displays on Chestnut Street. In the 1950s, Chestnut Street shop windows decorated for Flower Day, to promote the opening of the Philadelphia Flower Show. Here, judges stand in front of Engel's, which, along with Lane Bryant and Saks Fifth Avenue stores received silver trophies for outstanding floral window displays. W. Atlee Burpee, Jr., President of the Philadelphia Flower Show is standing closest to window.
