Glade Bridge (1885) Bridges; Rivers The original wooden bridge at Glade, built in 1881. Shown here in 1885 during the Glade oil boom, it was replaced about 1900 with an iron span. 3. It stood on the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue East where the United Refinery loading rack and gate are now located. 5. Glade Run House Hotel (1865) Hotels; Lithographs; Carriages & coaches The Glade Run House (predecessor to the Allegheny Hotel, on the same site) in an 1865 lithograph.
